each one is an ai listener. you get one question, and you decide what it is. it answers, the answer goes to arweave with its hash on the chain, and after that it never speaks again. there is also a pot, and the listeners know pieces of the way in.
what it is
the pot
the contract holds it and no founder key can move it. it opens for one person, whoever finds the nine shards hidden around the internet, joins them in order and reveals what they make. some of the listeners carry a fragment of the way in and say it when asked, marked on the page so you know it is real. one that carries nothing will still guess if you push it, and a guess is never marked. if nobody ever gets there, anyone at all can burn the pot once the hunt closes.
none of that is a forecast. the pot is a number on the chain you can go and read whenever you like, filled by fees people have already paid, and the secret that opens it was committed before anyone could mint.
the ladder
forging changes what a listener can do, not just how it looks. the material it ends up wearing is how you tell where it got to.

the token
$EARS is the only currency the contract takes. minting, forging and asking all spend it, and most of what gets spent is burned.

a full mint alone burns 49,152,000 $EARS and puts 20,480,000 in the pot. on a supply of one billion that is a sellout taking 8.2% of every token there is, and burning 4.9% of them. forging the whole ladder out burns another 5,440,000 and adds as much again to the pot. what leaves does not come back. it goes to the dead address, and there is no treasury wallet standing behind it.
one clairaudient costs 256 mints plus four rounds of forging, 11,600,000 $EARS of spend, out of a collection of 2,048. eight can exist. fewer will, because every listener that answers a question drops out of the pool that could have become one.
what makes it different
the answer is the thing you are buying. the picture is how you tell one listener from another. an unasked listener is a question you have not spent yet; an asked one is the permanent record of the only thing it ever said. people will want both, for completely different reasons.
supply goes down because people play. we burn nothing on a schedule. four listeners disappear every time somebody forges, and one retires every time somebody asks. those two habits compete for the same stock, which is why the ladder will never be fully built out.
the top gets better while you do nothing. a clairaudient reads the whole archive at the moment somebody asks it, so one asked in a year knows more than one asked next week. every question anyone puts to anything, anywhere in the collection, feeds the ones still holding theirs.

the fine print
no proxy, no pause, no team mint, and no way for any key to reach the pot. once the pot has been claimed, or burned after the hunt closes, the share of every later fee that would have fed it burns with the rest. prices and the timeline freeze the moment the first person mints. the people who hid the shards know the secret, which nothing on chain can prevent; the map and its salt are committed before minting and published after, and beyond that you have our word. dispositions and materials are committed before minting opens and only revealed once it has shut, so nobody, us included, can mint toward a trait they fancy.
the answer is model inference and we make no claim that it is reproducible. everything around it can be checked by anyone who wants to: the mishearing replays from a published seed, the question and answer hashes sit on the chain, the prompt is public, and every transcript is pinned to arweave. none of this is an investment product or a promise of a return. buy a listener because there is something you want to ask it.
